Prime Minister Gruevski Welcomed a Delegation of the World Association of Kickboxing Organizations

 

The President of the Government of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Nikola Gruevski held a meeting today with the delegation of the World Association of Kickboxing Organizations, led by WAKO President, Mr. Ennio Falsoni.

The upcoming World Kickboxing Championship was the occasion for the meeting, which will be held in the Republic of Macedonia.

At the meeting, Mr. Falsoni informed Prime Minister Gruevski that the reason for holding this World Championship in the Republic of Macedonia is to pay respects to the founder of Macedonian kickboxing, Ljupcho Nedelkovski.

Moreover, Mr. Falsoni informed Prime Minister Gruevski that 800 competitors from around the world will participate in the World Championship, and as a part of the sports delegations in their escort, an additional 500 guests will come. Falsoni also expressed gratitude for the overall support they received, as well as satisfaction with the excellent conditions that the sport centre “Boris Trajkovski” offers for holding such a significant international sports manifestation.

The President of the Government, Mr. Gruevski, thanked Mr. Falsoni for electing the Republic of Macedonia as the country where this world championship will be held and additionally wished every success
