Prof. Adnan Qahil, Ph.D. - Minister without Portfolio in the Government of the Republic of Macedonia in charge of Foreign Investments.

Adnan Qahil graduated at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, Department of Chemistry, at the "St. Cyril and Methodius" University in Skopje in 1984. At the same university, he acquired his Master's Degree in 2003, and Ph.D. Degree in 2008.
Born on 3 February 1960 in Skopje.
In the periods 1998-2000 and 2006-2008, Qahil was appointed Minister without Portfolio in the Government of the Republic of Macedonia, while from 2000 to 2002 he held the position of State Counselor to the President of the Government of RM. He was a member of Parliament of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia from 2002 to 2006.
Worked in "OHIS" - Skopje as a Process Engineer since 1984, and as Chief Engineer in OHIS’s Bahem Plant from 1987 to 1990. In the period 1984 to 1986, he was a teacher at the "Tefeijus" Primary Schol in Skopje. From 1990 to 1998, Qahil was acting Director of own private company. He taught chemistry at the "Josip Broz Tito" Secondary School in Skopje, and since 1998, he is a lecturer at the Pedagogical Faculty in Skopje.
Published over 35 scientific papers, displayed in internationally renowned magazines with an impact factor.
Prof. Dr. Adnan Qahil is an active athlete with results at European level, holder of the 5th Dan Black Belt in karate, an international instructor of the VSKF Federation for Europe in Tokyo, a coach in the Karate Club Vardar with which he has accomplishments on European level. In addition, in the period from 1998 to 2001 he was elected Vice President of the Karate Association of Macedonia.
