Over EUR 10 million to be invested in regional roads as of October
Preparations are under way and very soon we will start rehabilitating 27 kilometres of the Bitola-Resen-Bukovo highway, an investment in amount of EUR six million, Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski has announced saying that Negotino-Radovis road would be also overhauled.
Construction works are going to start in October on another four regional roads and highways.
“These include 11.5 kilometres of Delcevo-Golak road, 8 km of Melnicki Most-Centar Zupa road that cost EUR 1.2 million, Lazani-Ropotovo-Crniliste (17 km), Krivogastani-Obrsani-Vogjani (9.5 km), which is an investment estimated at EUR 3.2 million. This means that in October alone, construction works are going to be launched on four regional roads and highways. An estimated EUR 4.4 million will be invested on a total of 46 kilometres of roads and they are expected to be completed in 12 months’ time,” PM Gruevski told reporters on Saturday.
In addition to these regional roads, he added, Kumanovo-Skopje motorway will be also reconstructed as of February 2016.
