Goran Sugareski is the Minister of Transport and Communications in the Government of the Republic of Macedonia.

Goran Sugareski - Minister of Transport and Communications in the Government of the Republic of Macedonia

Graduated from the Faculty of Law "Iustinianus Primus" at "St. Cyril and Methodius" University in Skopje. He holds a master's degree in Political Science.

He was a Member of Parliament in the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia in the period 2008 to 2016.

Sugareski was a member of the Parliamentary Delegation for Cooperation with NATO and a member of several Parliamentary Committees: the Committee on Election and Appointment Issues, the Legislative Committee, the Defense and Security Committee and a Deputy Member of the Commission for Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy.

From 2015 to 2016 Sugareski was Coordinator of the SDSM parliamentary group in the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, and previously deputy coordinator of the parliamentary group.

Prior to being elected a Member of Parliament, he was working as civil servant in the local self-government, and adviser in the Council of the Municipality of Prilep.

Goran Sugareski is fluent in English.
