Mile Boshnjakovski, Spokesperson of the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia

 

Mile Boshnjakovski graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy at the University “St. Cyril and Methodius” in Skopje, at the Institute of History.

Currently he is preparing the master thesis, at postgraduate studies in Management of Strategic Communications, at the Institute for Communication Studies.

Mile Boshnjakovski has started his professional career as a journalist and later as editor and leader in the national television Kanal 5 in 1999. In 2002 he became editor and moderator of the central news of the Macedonian Radio Television public service. Besides the television engagement, Boshnjakovski had worked with the printed media, as well as, the news agencies in Macedonia and abroad: Makfax, weekly ZUM, weekly Forum etc.

In 2004, Boshnjakovski joined the team at the Macedonian Media Institute and took up the role of training coordinator for the project - One-Year School for Journalists, which today is the accredited higher education institution "School of Journalism and Public Relations".

In 2006, Mile Boshnjakovski became a Director of Corporate Communications in T-Mobile Macedonia, a sector responsible for external communication, boarding and corporate responsibility of the company. Boshnjakovski is the only Macedonian manager who was a part of the operational team in implementing the rebranding process from Mobimak in T-Mobile. He has also been a regular member of the Deutsche Telekom communication team and has also worked on the company global strategy for corporate responsibility.

In 2010, Boshnjakovski continued his career in the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and served as a specialist in advocacy and communications. Within the regular activities he covered program components such as demographics and population, youth policies, and at the same time, trainings for "Gender Transformation Programs". Boshnjakovski at UNFPA was also part of a global international roster (with a location at the United Nations building in New York) to a team of communicators who intervene amid humanitarian crises all over the world.

Apart from the public relations trainings, advocacy and media, of great importance is the training for “Monitoring and Evaluation – IDDET”, organized by the University of Carleton Canada, where Mile Boshnjakovski completed the training with a certificate.
