Fatmire Isaki – Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs

Fatmire Isaki was born in 1982 in Tetovo. In 2005, she obtained her BA in English Language and Literature at the Faculty of Pedagogical and Methodological Training of the “South-East Europe University” (SEEU). In 2011, she became MA in English Literature at the Faculty of Philology of the “State University” in Tetovo.

Presently she is a PhD candidate at the “Blazhe Koneski” Faculty of Philology of the “Ss. Cyril and Methodius” University in Skopje.

In the 2005 – 2007 period, she worked as English teacher at several primary schools in Tetovo. From 2007 – 2014, she worked at “Netting” private school for foreign languages. Since 2007, she has been working as English Language and Literature Professor at the University in Tetovo.

Isaki has participated in several conferences, seminars and other professional and scientific gatherings of international and national character. She is author and co-author of several professional papers published in scientific journals.

In 2005, she became spokesperson of the Democratic Party of the Albanians. In 2006, she became president of the Women’s Forum of the local branch of the Democratic Party of the Albanians in Tearce. In 2017, she was elected councilor at the Municipal Council in Tearce. In 2020, she became president of the “Women’s Union of the Democratic Party of the Albanians.” In the same year, she was elected deputy-president of the Democratic Party of the Albanians, and became the Democratic Party of the Albanians candidate for MP.

Fatmire Isaki speaks Albanian, Macedonian, English and Turkish.
