Vice PM Pesevski meets Spanish ambassador

There is room for the Republic of Macedonia and the Kingdom of Spain to intensify their economic relations and trade cooperation, for which there is mutual interest, Vice PM responsible for economic affairs, Vladimir Pesevski and Spain's ambassador to Macedonia, Fernando de Galainena Rodrigue concluded Monday at a joint meeting.

At the meeting, interlocutors shared their experiences in connection to the measures and projects conducted by the governments of Macedonia and Spain in an attempt to alleviate the negative effects of the economic crisis, Pesevski's cabinet said in a press release.

"Vice PM Pesevski underscored that Macedonia would keep on working hard to implement the economic reforms aimed at improving the business climate, to strengthen the competitiveness of Macedonia's economy and to boost the employment rate," stated the press release.

"The government remains committed to advance the favorable relations between the two countries, especially economic ties," it added.
