The establishment of the new Army of the Republic of Macedonia (ARM), progress in Euro-Atlantic integration, peacekeeping missions and modernization of the army were the topics of discussion at Wednesday's informal meeting of Defense Minister Fatmir Besimi with former defense ministers and ARM Chiefs of Staff, in the framework of the observances of the army's 20th jubilee.

Interlocutors agreed that such meetings should become a tradition, in the interest of Macedonia's defense.

Minister Besimi briefed his former colleagues over the planned activities for observance of ARM's 20th jubilee and the army day - August 18.
