As of Thursday free projects for construction of houses are available at the website of the Ministry of Transport and Communications www.mtc.gov.mk.

The government measures provide subsidies amounting from €900 to €2000 for obtaining free project for construction of house. Everyone who is interested and has no restriction on construction location can get the project, Minister of Transport and Communications Vlado Misajlovski said at Thursday’s press conference.

Ministry of Transport through public competition chose designs for the six types of objects with different surface. The ready-made designs for houses include all phases of construction. Projects for construction of individual houses include area of 60, 80, 100, 120, 150 and 180 square meters, Misajlovski said.

Besides reducing the cost of construction, this measure will reduce the deadlines for obtaining a building permit because the project is already known to the municipality. This means that anyone who wants to build a house for example of this type will be able to get the project from the Ministry of Transport and request building permit, he said.

The measure for subsidising of project is not intended to be competitor to house design companies, but to help citizens to save during the construction phase.

Ministry of Transport and Communications plans to make similar project due to the large interest since the announcement of subsidies by the Prime Minister Gruevski. I am convinced that the will continue with the project in the next years, Misajlovski underlined.
