Bashkim Hasani was born on 28 Novemer 1980, in the village of Pirok, Tetovo.

He completed primary and secondary high school education in Gostivar.

He graduated from the Faculty of Physical Education, Sports and Health, Ss. "Cyril and Methodius" in Skopje.

He started his professional career in 2002 as a professor of physical education, sports and health where he worked until 2008.

In the period 2008 - 2013 he was the Director of the National Institution, Center for Culture - ASNOM, Gostivar.

From 2013 - 2019 he was the Head of Sector for support to the Mayor, Municipality of Gostivar.

In the period 2019 - 2020 he was the Deputy Director of the Financial Police Directorate.

From September 2020 he is the Deputy Minister of Defence.

He speaks Albanian, Macedonian and English.
