Economy moves in right direction, Gruevski says
The data presented by the State Statistical Office regarding the movements in the economy, show that the matters move in the right direction, PM Nikola Gruevski said.
Answering a journalist question Gruevski emphasized that Macedonian economy in the second quarter i.e. GDP notes growth of 4.3% which is the highest growth in Europe.
Industrial production grew by 5.9% in July, and it is 4.7% in the first six months. We have growth of employment in the industry by 6.7% and what is most important Macedonian economy in the second quarter i.e. GDP notes growth of 4.3% which is the highest growth in Europe, Gruevski said Saturday after putting into operation multifunctional playground and reconstructed school “Kuzman Josifovski Pitu” in Kisela Voda in Skopje.
This time we do not speak about prognosis but about completed six months in which results for Europe and for Macedonia are already published.
This speaks that the matters are moving in right direction and this is also showed by continuous decrease of the unemployment rate. Only in the first six months of 2014 we have fall of the unemployment rate from 28.8% to 28.2%, Gruevski said.
