PM Gruevski meets Austrian FM Kurz
Macedonia's Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski and Austrian Foreign Minister Sebastian Kurz held talks Wednesday in Skopje on the bilateral political relations, possibilities for cooperation and bolstering the trade exchange, as well as Macedonia's EU-integration process.
Gruevski and Kurz expressed satisfaction with the good relations between the two countries, based on friendship, respect and potential for boosting the cooperation in all spheres of mutual interest.
Austria is significant trade partner of Macedonia and hence the two countries should exploit all possibilities on their disposal for advancing the cooperation, Gruevski said.
He extended gratitude for Austria's support of Macedonia's aspirations to join the EU and NATO, which is one of the Government's top priorities.
Kurz reaffirmed Austria's support of Macedonia's EU, NATO membership. Austria wishes for swift accession of entire Balkan region to the European, Euro-Atlantic organizations, he said.
Under joint efforts the two countries will succeed to bolster the economic cooperation, which is the priority of both governments, Kurz said.
