Gruevski: Projects in Kicevo improve education conditions
The 37. out of 100 multifunctional playgrounds throughout Macedonia was put into use in Kicevo elementary school "Kuzman Josifovski-Pitu" on Sunday.
The playground can be used for futsal, basketball, handball, volleyball and other sports.
"Our projects provide better conditions where children can learn, do sports and build themselves as individuals", said Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski at the event.
He announced the school would soon get a tennis court and a sports hall.
"The Government has implemented 11 projects for improvement of education conditions of children in Kicevo municipality", added Gruevski.
Youth and Sports Agency director Marjan Spaseski said a new chapter opened in Kicevo.
"Every success in the sports field motivates us to continue investments, but success is undoubtedly tied to training conditions and infrastructure. This is in the focus of the Government's projects throughout Macedonia", said Spaseski.
During his visit to Kicevo, PM Gruevski also paid a visit to the Faculty of Technology and Technical Sciences, opening a new laboratory for organic and non-organic chemistry and bio-chemistry, a microbiological lab, and a food analysis lab.
