The President of the Government of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Nikola Gruevski, today (Wednesday, 24. 06. 2015) met the Greek Foreign Minister Mr. Nikos Kotzias.

At the meeting has been emphasized the need and the commitment for continuous improvement of good neighborly relations.

Both sides have welcomed and positively assessed the confidence building measures between the two countries.

The counterparts have underlined the importance of the negotiating process under the auspices of the UN to find a mutually acceptable solution on the opened name issue.

Both sides have stressed the commitment to integrate the whole region in the EU.

They have also discussed the possibilities to enhance the overall cooperation between the two countries in areas of common interest.
