Spasov: 30,000 families get higher welfare

About 30,000 families in Macedonia received higher welfare by ten percent, said Minister of Labor and Social Policy Dime Spasov on Thursday.

"Additional MKD 105 million (EUR 1,7 million) will be allocated in the budget as a result of the increase", said Spasov.

He added the Government would continue to provide assistance to socially vulnerable groups through series of measures and projects.

Minister Spasov paid a visit to the Skopje-based orphans home "11 October", where refurbishing works have been ongoing over the past year, resulting in new rooms for the children, overhaul of the kitchen, as well as a new fitness center.
