Demir Hisar gets new residential building for citizens at social risk
Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski, Director of the public enterprise for construction and management of residential and commercial property Cvetko Grozdanov and Demir Hisar Mayor Ljupco Blazevski formally opened Sunday a residential building with 25 apartments for citizens at social risk and other vulnerable categories - an investment of about MKD 33 million (close to EUR540.000).
This project reflects the Government's commitment for equal economic, social development in all parts of Macedonia.
"Principles of humanity, social justice and solidarity make the foundations of the Government's policies. In this spirit, along with the efforts for faster economic development, attracting investors, creating jobs, increasing social assistance, we keep applying various measures to make the life of most vulnerable citizens easier," Gruevski said at the ceremony.
Residential buildings for socially vulnerable categories of citizens have been also erected in Skopje, Kicevo, Makedonska Kamenica, Ohrid, Kocani, Kavadarci, Kriva Palanka, Stip, Bitola, Berovo and Resen. These buildings are part of the Government's project for construction of 2.500 apartments for socially vulnerable population, young couples, low income citizens, orphans and commercial purposes, the PM said.
