Gruevski: Over EUR 50 million invested in new and reconstructed schools
The Government has invested over EUR 50 million in the construction of new schools and the overhaul of existing schools throughout Macedonia over the past nine years.
"Over EUR 20 million have been allocated for the construction of 74 new schools, while EUR 30 million invested in the reconstruction of 350 existing schools", Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski told reporters on during a visit to Ilinden municipality on Saturday.
He also referred to the completed construction of 383 water supply and sewage systems worth EUR 38 million.
"Currently there are works on 23 new water supply and sewage systems worth EUR 11 million, with 19 new such systems worth EUR 20 million in the next couple of years", stressed Gruevski.
