Macedonia Employs project provided jobs to over 5.000 persons
5.240 persons were employed in 3.525 private companies in the past four months through Macedonia Employs project.
Minister of Labour and Social Welfare Dime Spasov said that 3.006 companies employed even 10 persons.
424 small companies with 10 to 50 employees, 76 companies with 50 to 250 employees and 19 companies with over 250 employees benefited from the measures of the Macedonia employs project. Younger generations i.e. people up to 29 years of age, who are employed through measures one plus one year exemption from income tax and social contributions, were mostly employed. 1.472 young people aged up to 29 were employed through this measure, Spasov told reporters at the press conference in the Employment Agency.
1.924 people aged 35 to 50 and 832 people aged over 50 were employed thorough the measure for employment of persons up to age of 35.
Employment Agency Director Vlatko Popovski said that Macedonia Employs campaign on acquainting the citizens about the project as well as organisation of job fairs will continue in the future.
