PM Gruevski: Self-employment project will resume as it yields results
The Self-Employment project has been successful and will resume next year. This year over 500 enterprises have been registered, opening at least as many jobs, Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski told reporters on Thursday after overseeing the construction works on new high school in Skopje village Saraj.
This project yields results as many people having entrepreneurial spirit and sound ideas may provide their existence in this manner, Gruevski said.
Under the project, the Government offers financial support to jobless people to register start-up companies, small business. Since its launch, about 6, 800 private companies have been founded in the 2007-2014 period, with some of them increasing the number of employees.
The second part of the project is expected to bring about another 430 jobs, thus the number of employees should reach at least 1,000.
