Skopje hospital gets angiography instrument
An instrument for performing angiography procedures was officially put into service Sunday in the Skopje City Hospital.
“This (the instrument) is a new moment for this hospital after getting the instrument for the first time ever. Thus, the hospital becomes the second centre in the capital Skopje where similar procedures are performed related to cardiology,” stated Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski, who was joined by Health Minister Nikola Todorov to inaugurate the instrument.
MKD 35 million (EUR 566,000) were spent to procure the instrument, he added.
Doctors from the Skopje general hospital have been already trained to perform angiography in Zurich and in other medical centres; Gruevski said vowing that medical trainings would continue in the future.
