EUR 30 million in bank loans at disposal for companies

Domestic companies can use funds in the amount of EUR 30 million in 2015 via the favorable credit line of the Macedonian Bank for Development Promotion, said Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski on Saturday.

"The Government has already provided EUR 350 million, mainly from the European Investment Bank, enabling a subsidized interest rate and a repayment period exceeding eight years", PM Gruevski told reporters during a visit to Sopiste municipality.

He added the Government is subsidizing the interest rate, which does not exceed 5.5 percent.

"A new tranche worth EUR 6,8 million would be released in the coming days, projecting to result in 100 new jobs and realization of 61 projects. Another EUR 30 million are to be invested by the year-end, which represents an excellent chance for domestic companies to use these benefits", stressed Gruevski.

He urged companies to apply with their projects through the commercial banks for the remaining EUR 30 million, since the deadline expires by the end of 2015.
