Ministry of Finance opens kindergarten for children of its employees
The Ministry of Finance opened Saturday a kindergarten for the children of its employees, the first of its kind in Macedonia. The kindergarten will take care for 40 children from 2 to six-years of age.
"The idea for opening a kindergarten has been with me since I worked at the World Bank, which also had such facility. It is a practice in many financial and other corporations throughout the world. Many private companies also take care for children by opening kindergartens for their employees' offspring. We have invested a lot of love and enthusiasm in this project," Vice Premier and Finance Minister Zoran Stavreski said at the opening ceremony.
He extended gratitude to all of the participants in the project's realization, including the Labor, Social Policy Minister, Dime Spasov, and his team.
Stavreski wished for all state institutions to follow the suit of the Ministry of Finance, namely enable their employees to be close to their children, being certain that they get best possible care during the parents' working hours.
