The government has paid Saturday subsidies amounting to Denar 17.2 million as compensation for damages to 364 persons in Strumica, Mogila and Gazi Baba that were hit by storms and floods in early 2015.

Denar 8.78 million are paid to 255 citizens of Mogila, Denar 6.2 million to 102 citizens of Strumica and Denar 2.2 million to 7 citizens of Gazi Baba.

Finance Ministry told that so far, Denar 331.691.754 were paid to 3.225 persons in hit-flooded regions of Strumica, Mogila, Novaci, Bitola, Prilep, Demir Hisar, Veles, Probistip, Stip, Ohrid, Cesinovo, Oblesevo, Gradsko, Radovis, Karbinci, Makedonska Kamenica, Kriva Palanka and Tetovo.

In this way the government will continue to fulfill its promise to compensate the flood damages, Finance Ministry said in a press release.
