MoI put in charge of protecting Special Prosecutor's Office, says Gruevski

The government has put the Interior Ministry (MoI) in charge of fully protecting the building of the Special Public Prosecutor’s Office, Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski said Sunday.

“At a session today, the government adopted a conclusion tasking the Interior Ministry with providing 24-hour protection of the building of the Special Prosecutor’s Office, i.e. deploying security personnel. The Minister noted that everything the special prosecutor had asked for in terms of security guards had been already provided,” he stated visiting a location in Skopje where a dorm is set to be built.

Apart from this, he added, the General Affairs Service, which provides all state institutions with staff, has been put at the disposal of the Special Public Prosecutor’s Office as required.
