Foreign Minister Nikola Poposki held talks Monday in Brussels with Christian Danielsson, the European Commission Director-General for EU Neighbourhood & Enlargement, who is set to visit Macedonia in the next two days.

Poposki and Danielsson shared opinions on Macedonia's European perspectives, reform priorities and preparations for the elections and in this context to the future steps of the European Commission.

They agreed that the 5 June election process would contribute to putting an end to the political crisis and opening the door for launching of Macedonia's EU accession talks.
