This day is rather significant for you and our society, as the mother tongue is a creator of the spirit of one nation, Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski said Wednesday at a ceremony honoring the Day of Education in Turkish Language.

Gruevski praised the excellent cooperation between Macedonia and Turkey, saying that cultural projects, including the construction of a Turkish Theater, would be completed soon. He also mentioned the finalized projects in the sphere of education.

We have been also enjoying an excellent economic cooperation, which resulted in several Turkey's investments in Macedonia, including the ones in Skopje, Ohrid airports, Gruevski said.

"We shall continue to work together on the overall prospect of the country," he added.

The ceremony also heard the addresses of representatives of Turkish political parties and community in Macedonia.
