About MKD 30,000 (EUR 500) will be handed over in advance to each flood-affected household, Prime Minister Emil Dimitriev told reporters on Friday.

The data for over 1,950 out of 3,500-4,000 households have been processed thus far and Dimitriev expects the advanced payment of EUR 500 to kick off today. The entire payment process should be completed by Tuesday, he added.

The Government, he said, will propose yet another budget rebalance, which should provide MKD two billion for compensating the damages of flood-affected households.
