Macedonia, China sign cooperation memo on labour and social security
Labour Minister Ibrahim Ibrahimi and Deputy Minister of Human Resources and Social Security of the People’s Republic of China Fu Xinghuo signed Monday memorandum of cooperation in the field of labour and social security between two ministries.
Memorandum foresees deepening cooperation between the two countries in this area, enabling exchange of experience and experts, exchange of visits at ministerial level, as well as joint organisation of training and implementation of common projects.
Both interlocutors assessed that the high-level cooperation is expected to be intensified more by signing of the memorandum.
The memorandum envisages civil servants from Macedonia’s Ministry of Labour and Social Policy and China’s Ministry of Social Security will have great opportunity to mutually assist and cooperate in the field of labour legislation, the creation and implementation of employment policies with an emphasis on youth employment, labour inspection and social security, as well as emphasis on scheme of old-age social insurance which will ensure the creation of better living conditions for citizens of the two friendly countries, Ibrahimi said.
China’s Deputy Minister of Human Resources and Social Security underlined that today’s signing of memorandum is the first document for cooperation in the field of labour, employment and social security signed between the two countries.
I believe that the cooperation in the field of labour, employment and social security will play a significant role in the bilateral relations between Macedonia and China and will contribute to social development, Xinghuo stated.
Chinese delegation led by Deputy Minister of Human Resources and Social Security pays several-day visit to Macedonia.
