Dragan Tevdovski is the Minister of Finance in the Government of the Republic of Macedonia.

Prior to being appointed to the position Minister of Finance in the Government of the Republic of Macedonia, Dragan Tevdovski was an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Economics, at the "St. Cyril and Methodius" University in Skopje.

Tevdovski has been working at the Faculty of Economics as Junior Assistant (December 2002-September 2007), Assistant (September 2007-September 2010), and Assistant Professor (September 2010-September 2015).

In 2016 he won the award Best Scientist at the "St. Cyril and Methodius" University in the field of Social Sciences for 2015. Students’ survey conducted by Fakulteti.mk website selected him in the group of "The most Inspiring Professors in Macedonia" in 2016 as well.

Tevdovski obtained his M.Sc. in Statistics from the Faculty of Economics, University of Belgrade, Serbia in December 2006 (with an average grade10/10); and his Ph.D. in Economic Sciences from the Faculty of Economics, “St. Cyril and Methodius” University in Skopje in February 2010.

He was Postdoctoral Research Fellow at CREATES, Aarhus University in Denmark in the area of Econometrics (September 2013 - June 2014).

Tevdovski is a co-author of two university textbooks "Business Statistics and Economics" and "IntroEconometricse Time Series Analysis". He is also author of 45 scientific articles, 8 policy analyses and 2 scientific monographs.

Some of his papers have been published in prestigious scientific journals: Economics of Transition, Economic Systems, Empirical Economics, Empirica, European Journal of International Management, Romanian Journal for Economic Forecasting, Global Labour Journal, Croatian Economic Survey and Economic Annals.

Tevdovski has given lectures at the "First Training for Investment Advisors", organized by the Securities and Exchange Commission of the Republic of Macedonia, in Quantitative Methods and Statistics and Portfolio Management. In addition, he held courses and training for the business community.

In 2012, he won the Annual Global Development Network Research Competition for examination of fiscal and monetary policy interactions in South Eastern European countries with fixed exchange rate regime, in cooperation with Goran Petrevski and Jane Bogoev.

His political analyzes are published by esteemed international institutes: FES, NDI, FEPS and SOLIDAR. In addition, he regularly writes columns on economic topics and has by now published 25 columns.

Participated in 95 scientific conferences and seminars or summer schools abroad.
