The rental fee that “Filip II” hospital lessee is to pay to “8 September” general hospital amounting to €75.000 per month will be used for renovation of hospital’s infrastructure, Health Minister Nikola Todorov said at Sunday’s press conference.

Todorov said that a total of €870.000 will be spent in 2012 for renovation of interior of “8 September” general hospital of which €550.000 for hospital departments, floors, doors, plumbing and sewerage infrastructure, toilet renovation etc.

Also he informed that additional €320.000 are foreseen for renovation of five elevators.

By this the total amount of investment is €900.000 and is first reconstruction since opening of this hospital in 1971, Todorov said.

Health Ministry Sunday also announced reconstruction of infrastructure of Clinic for Children’s Diseases in 2012 which will amount €1 million of which €250.000 for replacement of windows, €600.000 for air conditioning and interior repair and €150.000 for replacement of elevators.
