Minister of Culture Elizabeta Kanceska-Milevska on Sunday evening held a working meeting with Prince Michael of Kent at Radika hotel in Mavrovo.

The meeting was also attended by UK Ambassador to Macedonia, Christopher Yvon, members of the British business delegation, representatives of Macedonia's Agency for Tourism Promotion, the Ministry of Culture said in a press release. Kanceska-Milevska at the meeting said the visit was of crucial importance for the business sector and for advancing cultural ties between the two countries.

Talks focused on opportunities for improving the cultural tourism and promotion of Macedonia as a country with rich cultural and natural heritage and for enhanced promotion of Macedonia's culture in the United Kingdom. Minister Kanceska-Milevska informed Prince Michael of Kent that Macedonian culture would be presented at the cultural Olympiad in London - the largest cultural celebration in the history of the modern Olympic and Paralympic Movements.
