PM Gruevski calls for calming of situation in Struga
Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski called Tuesday for calming of the situation in Struga, which must not be abused for realising political goals, as it will bring harm to all citizens of Macedonia, regardless of their ethnic origin and religion.
Speaking to reporters after the meeting his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Gruevski called on all citizens of Macedonia to not invest their energy in bringing harm to, insult the other, but to find a mechanism to come out of their frustrations with good ideas about how to support each other, work together on moving their country forward.
He urged all political parties and individuals, who abuse the situation, believers and various ethnic groups for their personal gains - closely related to some future elections - to stop doing that, as in this manner they bring harm to their own people.
