Self-Government Minister meets Swiss Ambassador to Macedonia
Minister of Local Self-Government Nevzat Bejta and Swiss Ambassador Stefano Lazzarotto discussed Wednesday on the pace of power decentralization process in Macedonia.
Bejta hailed Switzerland's support of Macedonia, saying that the Community Forums Programme (CFP), financed by the Swiss Government, has been helpful to many municipalities.
Switzerland is among the top supporters of Macedonia's power decentralization process, which is the pillar of the Ohrid Framework Agreement, Lazzarotto said.
CFP stands for a participatory community development, namely for the citizens to improve their lives with their own ideas and participation and for the administration to develop a participatory, accountable and trusted local government.
