Britain shares its Criminal Intelligence Model with Macedonia
Interior Minister Gordana Jankuloska and British Ambassador Christopher Yvon signed Thursday a memorandum of cooperation on funding the project "Profiling of British Criminal Intelligence Model in Macedonia."
Employees of the Center for Combating Organized and Serious Crime (CSOSK) within the Ministry of Internal Affairs will have an opportunity to get familiar with and acquire training on how to implement the British Criminal Intelligence Model - one of the oldest and best police practices in fighting all forms of organized crime.
The project, worth £46,000, should be completed by the end of June.
This model, based on analyzing the intelligence data, contributes to objective decision-making and thus to preventing, reducing the crime, Jankuloska said at the signing ceremony.
Ambassador Yvon expressed gratitude to all of those who were supporting the realization of this project, saying that for many years now the British Embassy has been assisting Macedonia in the spheres of rule of law and institutional capacity building.
