Foreign Minister Nikola Poposki held talks Thursday with members of the Swedish-Macedonian Friendship Group of the Parliament of Sweden.

Hailing the last year decision of Sweden's Parliament to set up such a group, Poposki expressed belief that the parliamentary diplomacy would contribute to further advancing of the relations between the two countries.

Poposki briefed the guests about Macedonia's priorities, emphasizing its aspirations to soon join the European and Euro-Atlantic institutions. He expected for Sweden to keep supporting Macedonia on both bilateral and multilateral level.

The talks also addressed current international and regional developments.
