PM Gruevski: Malaysian companies interested in Macedonia investments
The Government delegation led by Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski completed Friday the week-long tour of India and Malaysia with a presentation of Macedonia's investment opportunities in Kuala Lumpur.
Besides the business forum, the delegation also met with representatives of companies showing interest to visit Macedonia, see the market, meet local businessmen and contemplate the possibility of opening a business in Macedonia.
"We have made an excellent presentation before about 60-70 companies. Malaysia is a fast-growing economy, having a 6.5-7 percent annual GDP growth. There are many companies active on the international market, including Europe", said PM Gruevski after the conclusion of today's business forum.
The Macedonian delegation presented the investment benefits if they choose Macedonia as their business destination - low costs, low taxes, reduced bureaucracy, free trade agreements.
"We presented these details, but also the World Bank rankings, which is in a way a guarantee for investors", added Gruevski.
During its stay in India, the Government delegation presented Macedonia's investment opportunities in New Delhi, Pune and Mumbai.
