Minister Dimoski meets Israeli ambassador Cohen
Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management, Ljupco Dimoski met Wednesday with Israel's ambassador to Macedonia, BiH and Albania, David Cohen for talks on agricultural cooperation between Macedonia and Israel, realisation of projects on rural tourism and production of certified seeds and planting material.
"In an effort to strengthen the bilateral relations, Israel has submitted a draft-text regarding agricultural cooperation. After being adopted by the Government of Macedonia, the text is expected to be signed in May when Minister Dimoski is scheduled to pay a visit to Israel.
Ambassador Cohen said that experts from Israel would hold trainings as part of the project on rural tourism, which is due to take place from March 19-28 in the region of Ohrid and Struga. The training is intended for local authorities, NGOs, agricultural associations and individuals.
Cohen also informed Dimoski that the project for production of certified seed and planting material in Sveti Nikole would be launched in mid-April.
