Minister Kralev wraps up visit to Finland
Minister of Education of Science Pance Kralev paid Thursday a working visit to Finland's capital, Helsinki where he held several meetings, including with his Finnish counterpart Jukka Gustafsson, the ministry said in a press release.
At a meeting with Jari Jokinen, director of the Aalto University in Helsinki, Kralev exchanged experiences related to higher education and the possibilities for establishing cooperation with some of the universities in Macedonia.
The minister also met with Päivi Laivola de Rosière, director of the Unit for EU Enlargement and Western Balkans at the Finnish Foreign Ministry.
"Talks focused on Macedonia's EU integration process and the commitment of all state institutions in the accession process," stated the press release.
Kralev also met with Riitta Mustonen, Vice President for Research at the Academy of Finland.
The minister concluded his visit to Finland after meeting with the Minister of Education and Science, Jukka Gustafsson.
"Both ministers expressed content with the ongoing bilateral cooperation. Minister Kralev informed his counterpart on the numerous reforms implemented by the government in the Macedonian educational system," the ministry said.
