FM Poposki meets David Cullen, Head of EC Enlargement DG Unit for Macedonia

Foreign Minister Nikola Poposki held talks Wednesday in Skopje with David Cullen, Head of the Unit for Macedonia of the European Commission's Directorate General on Enlargement.

The talks addressed the forthcoming activities within Macedonia-EU high-level accession dialogue, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a press release. Poposki said the Government was wrapping up and would soon adopt a Roadmap for implementing the reforms and measures related to the five mutually agreed spheres of priority.

Cullen hailed the Government's strong commitment to the accession dialogue, expressing belief that the Roadmap would set a solid base for monitoring of Macedonia's results ahead of the European Commission's report on the country's progress towards the EU membership.

The second session of the high-level accession dialogue is to take place on May 7 in Skopje, under the co-chairmanship of Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski and EU Enlargement Commissioner Stefan Fule.
