Minister of Transport and Communications Mile Janakieski met Thursday in Pristina with Kosovo Minister of Infrastructure Fehmi Mujota for talks on opportunities to cooperate in the construction of Skopje-Blace road section and to regulate road transportation between Macedonia and Kosovo.

Minister Janakieski said that mutual cooperation will contribute to accelerated realisation of the infrastructural project for the construction of Skopje-Blace road section, the Transport Ministry said in a press release.

Cooperation in transport, according to Janakieski, will further strengthen economic ties in the region, while an improved road infrastructure will enable faster traffic flow and continuous passenger and cargo transportation.

The mixed commission for international road transport for goods and passengers is expected to hold a working meeting in June, stated the press release.
