Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski, who is paying a visit to Italy, had a meeting Wednesday with Turin Mayor Piero Fassino.

The talks focused on possibilities for bolstering the economic cooperation and possibilities for investing in Macedonia, the Government's Information Service said in a press release.

Later today, Skopje Mayor and Fassino signed an agreement on friendship and cooperation between the two cities. Under the document, an office for spatial, urban planning - 'Urban Center - Skopje' will be opened in the Macedonian capital.

The Skopje Urban Center project is just the beginning of the cooperation between the two cities, which will be realized within the long-term successful, fruitful cooperation between Macedonia and Italy, Trajanovski said at the signing ceremony.
