Vice Premier Arifi meets German Committee on Eastern European Economic Relations executive Lindner

Vice Premier for European Affairs Teuta Arifi met Monday with  Germany's Committee on Eastern European Economic Relations Executive Director Rainer Lindner, who was briefed on Macedonia's activities related to the European integration process.

Vice Premier Arifi referred to implementation of measures within the Operational Roadmap for realization of goals encompassed in the priority areas of the Macedonia-EU high-level accession dialogue, the Secretariat for European Affairs said in a press release.

Interlocutors discussed bilateral cooperation, agreeing that Macedonia has obtained significant support through Germany's development programmes.

Lindner stressed that Germany supports Macedonia's accession to Euro-Atlantic structures, voicing hope that the high-level accession dialogue would contribute towards the country's further approximation to European standards, reads the press release.
