FM Poposki meets German Committee on Eastern European Economic Relations official Lindner

Foreign Minister Nikola Poposki met Monday with Germany's Committee on Eastern European Economic Relations Executive Director Rainer Lindner, focusing on intensification of bilateral economic relations, specific activities and projects.

Lindner said a business forum would be held next year, attended by companies from Germany and Macedonia, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a press release.

Lindner also voiced the support by the German business community to Macedonia's Euro-Atlantic integration and the positive effect of the visa liberalization, which has facilitated communication between the countries' business sectors.

FM Poposki stressed the excellent bilateral economic cooperation, adding that Germany is one of Macedonia's most important trading partners, assuming first spot in 2011.

Poposki also briefed Lindner on the favorable business climate and investment benefits, urging German companies to use these comparative advantages, reads the press release.
