Lukoil plans enlargement of investment in Macedonia

Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski and director of Russian oil company "Lukoil" Vagit Alekperov met Thursday in Saint Petersburg, focusing on the company's plans to increase its investment in the Republic of Macedonia.

PM Gruevski stressed that the Government is ready to provide full support for realization of the company plans, adding that Lukoil's entry at the Macedonian market has improved competitiveness and enhanced benefits for consumers.

Interlocutors voiced satisfaction from prior cooperation and commitment to continuation of processes of interest for Macedonia and the Russian company.

In the framework of the visit to the Russian Federation, Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski is set to meet later today with President Vladimir Putin at the International Economic Forum held in the city.
