The President of the Government, Hristijan Mickoski today met the Ambassador of the Italian Republic to North Macedonia, Andrea Silvestri.

At the meeting, the interlocutors exchanged opinions and views on current developments, as well as on the progress of the integration of the country into the European Union. President Mickoski emphasized the importance of the cooperation with Italy, while stressing that the support provided by the Italian part is of key importance for the development and stability of the country.

Ambassador Silvestri reaffirmed the commitment of Italy for continuation of the excellent cooperation with North Macedonia so far while reiterating the readiness to provide support in key reforms and projects foreseen for the forthcoming period.
