Macedonia has the lowest costs for running a business in Europe, Gruevski tells CNN

Macedonia offers a myriad of benefits for starting and running a business that need to be promoted before potential investors. There is no other country in Europe with lower costs for running a business in Europe, Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski said in an interview with CNN when asked about the quest for new locations from where foreign investments would be attracted in the midst of Europe's recession.

"In these difficult times for the EU and the European Monetary Union, we are trying to attract investors from other countries and parts of the world that haven't been significantly or completely hit by the crisis. Recently, we've visited China in a bid to present our advantages before numerous Chinese companies. We have also visited India to do the same there. Now we are in Russia for four days to visit four regions. Talks have been held with over 230 companies to present the advantages of Macedonia for doing a business in Europe," Gruevski stated.
