Promotion of 17 new titles - part of Government's 'Translation of 1.000 Books' project

Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski, Minister of Education and Science Pance Kralev and Tetovo State University Rector Vullnet Ameti attended Sunday a promotion of 17 new titles in the field of law - part of the Government's project for translation of 1.000 reference books used at top US, British universities.

The Government has invested substantial fund in this project, as these books - top scientific works - are being used at the tenth best universities across the globe, Gruevski said at the promotion in Tetovo State University (DUT).

"I hope that students, assistants and professors will use these books to acquire new knowledge and make them equal with their colleagues from Yale, Harvard, Cambridge and Oxford universities," the PM said.

Earlier today, Gruevski and Kralev also attended a formal opening of a sports hall in Tetovo high school 'Goce Stojcevski'.
