FM Poposki meets Chairman of Croatia's Chamber of Commerce

Opportunities and benefits for investors in the technological and industrial development zones in Macedonia, especially in energy and infrastructure, were discussed Friday by Foreign Minister Nikola Poposki and Chairman of the Croatian Chamber of Commerce, Nadan Vidosevic and representatives of the biggest Croatian firms cooperating with Macedonia at a meeting in Zagreb.

FM Poposki at the meeting with the business community said that the Government of Macedonia continuously worked on improving the business climate and working conditions for local and foreign companies, MoFA said in a press release. He added that Macedonia's goal was economic growth, development of the private sector and opening of new jobs. Presenting macroeconomic indicators, Poposki said that Macedonia had a stable macroeconomic surrounding, thus the financial regulation had been significantly strengthened.

"The Macedonian FM took the opportunity to present opportunities for Croatian companies to invest in Macedonia after the country joins the EU," stated the press release.

FM Poposki also met with representatives of the Community of the Macedonian National Minority in Croatia.
