Ban Ki-moon to be directly informed about name row details on Macedonia visit: PM

Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski said he expected the UN Secretary General, who is due to visit Macedonia as part of his tour of Western Balkan countries, to be directly informed about the name talks taking place under UN auspices.

"So far, there are no concrete announcements regarding some fresh negotiations. I think there will be no new negotiations, Ban Ki-moon will visit Macedonia in order to make his own analysis, to examine details, problems, etc. However, anything can happen, there can be a pleasant surprise, although there are no such announcements," PM Gruevski told reporters on Sunday.
