A new laboratory installed in the Institute of Pathology was put into service on Saturday. Costing 800.000 euros, the lab for electron microscopy is one of the most modern laboratories procured in the country.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by PM Nikola Gruevski, Health Minister Nikola Todorov and Education Minister Pance Kralev.

"This electron microscopy laboratory is one of the most sophisticated in the region of Southeast Europe. It will benefit not only the Institute of Pathology, but also the entire healthcare in Macedonia," PM Gruevski stated.

The lab, he added, will be also useful for all Macedonian universities, for students and professors and for making precise diagnoses, which was not possible before without this equipment.
